  Knowing that I try to live as cleanly as I can,
my friend Annie from Tsi-La Organics recently sent me several samples from her perfume line to try. I don’t consider myself a TOTAL “Crunchy” mom, but I do love and appreciate organic products. Another reason I was so glad to share this find with you is that Tsi-La’s Green Luxury line of artisan perfumes, custom-made fragrances and skin care products are made in small batches and bottled by hand ~ right in a Bucks County studio! I am a HUGE proponent of BUYING LOCAL!
Each sample I opened smelled more delicious then the next one. I could really pick out the notes from each due to the purity of the product. Since all of the oils are blendable, I smelled AWESOME when I was done. The end result was a self made mix that made me smell good enough to eat!
Some of the samples I tried are:
Fleur Savage, which is beautiful floral fragrance with a hint of the woods.
Kizes has a really clean, fresh, almost creamy – citrus scent. (I like this one a ton!)
Kesu seems sensual. The type of scent you would wear when you want to heat things up at home. Oooh La La!
and
Fiori D’Arancio which smells delicious! It’s citrusy like Kizes, but also has other other ingredients (such as neroli flowers and caramelized vanilla) that bring an air of mischief, THIS WAS MY FAVE!

 Little Passports, A Global Adventure
A Review of Little Passports, A Global Adventure from a Teacher & a Mom to a 5 year old child.
Direct from my daughter, “I love it a lot and want to have one hundred more of Little Passports and Sam and Sofia sending me things from their adventures in other countries!” “It is a very good learning for all the kids that their moms and dads can teach them.” “And, it’s good for them to learn things.” There you have it folks….straight from my 5 year old. This programs receives her seal of approval and what better way to know if a program is worth your money and time, especially a program that is a monthly monetary and time commitment, than to get the kid approval.
So, I received this program to review a few months ago, but I needed to see a few countries (a couple months worth before felt comfortable to review) not just the initial program which included the suitcase and introduction from the 10 year old children who take the adventures, Sam & Sofia, to really be able to review it with an honest opinion. I based my review on how my daughter and I interacted with the program, learned from the program, how much interest was sparked to learn more and as well as how much we enjoyed the program. I have to say, I’m impressed. My daughter and I sat down this morning and I introduced Sofia & Sam to her, the darling little suitcase to store all the trinkets, letters, map and passport they sent.
After introducing the suitcase, passport and Sofia & Sam I gave her the first package from Brazil. I do recommend the company send the first country with the introduction package because my daughter was excited to get started, if they don’t do that already with their paying customers (Like I mentioned, we received this item to review for the parents and children). I’m glad we didn’t have to wait for Brazil to arrive, because it may have made the experience a little less exciting…almost like here is this really cool program, but I don’t have a country to show you how it really works.
Each month the package contains: a letter from Sofia & Sam explaining what country they are in and some interesting information about the country with a real photo of that point of interest, a sticker of the country to put on their suitcase, a pushpin sticker to place on the map to indicate which country their new pen pals wrote from, a flag sticker of the country for their little passport, some sort of trinket from the country (we received an Amethyst rock from a mine in the Amazon Rain Forest from Brazil in our first country package), a boarding pass with a secret access code to play fun games in the Boarding Zone area of www.LittlePassports.com and a page of activities (one of the activities tells you what country the new pen pals are going to be visiting next month).
You can choose from the World Edition or the USA Edition!
There are many choices as far as what you would like to order and pay for. You can pay for a year in advance $131.40 or signup for a year and pay $10.95 monthly or pay monthly for $1 more each month ($11.95). Also, you can choose less months.  Strawberry Shortcake: Berry Friends Forever Released March 5, 2013 When the very formal Berry Bitty Buggy Derby is revived, the girls are unfamiliar with the traditional behavior for the event. Blueberry starts off as the resident expert, but eventually gets so obsessed with manners she does more harm than good. In the end, the girls work together and learn the true meaning of being BFF’s or Berry Friends Forever.
My little one watched it twice in a row she was so excited!! She loved this new release and I thought it was another great movie that taught my daughter more important life lessons! Thumbs up Strawberry & Friends!!! Keep it the good work!
When I had my daughter six years ago, I researched almost every baby product before I bought it or registered for it. I have to admit, I was a bit obsessed with scouring the internet and trying to find the best product for my money.
When my daughter was born, it was REALLY important to me to breastfeed. I felt it was the best gift a mother could give her child. But alas, she was a C-section baby that would never latch and I couldn’t keep up with pumping. Since we needed to bottle feed, I was really worried about colic and gas and I wanted the best bottle for her I could find. In my research, I came across Dr. Brown’s Natural Flow Bottles on the internet and bought some after reading all of the positive reviews. We used the bottles for a year and NEVER had a problem with gas , fussiness or colic. I remember my mother in law saying that she wished Dr. Brown’s were around when she was raising my husband and his brothers.

Fast forward to today (six years later) and I am again using Dr. Brown’s Natural Flow Bottles for my newborn son. He was a NICU baby and I had some complications, so I was unable to breast feed him either. I pumped for a bit, but then got mastitis, and just couldn’t handle the complications and boob pain on top of it. So, needless to say, we are using the AWESOME Dr. Brown’s Bottles again!
Dr. Brown’s bottles have more parts then others, but the extra pieces are what make the bottle work so effectively so, it’s not ever been a bother to have the extra parts to clean.
Dr. Brown’s Bottle run about $5-$6 a piece and are worth EVERY penny! They hold up well to hand and dish washing. I have never had a problem with parts breaking or discoloring. It seems like other bottles have bubbles that form at the top and you can never tell if your baby is sucking them down while they are eating or not. I love the fact that with Dr. Brown’s bottles, you can actually see the “flat” formula in the bottle, and you know with confidence that your little one is not taking in any extra air.
If you are looking for the Cadillac of bottles, this one is it!

I chose to review, “The Wish My Heart Makes for You” recordable storybook (beautifully written, inspirational story any parent would be honored to give to a child) and I gave it to my daughter for her first advent calendar gift (see photo above). I love reading her stories from my heart and the fact that she can pick up this storybook and hear her Me reading a heartfelt story to her even when I’m not around, she’s visiting other family or I’m around and doing the dishes…lol makes me feel even more like the best mom in the world!
I personalized my recording for her by adding a little special message in the beginning of the story letting her know when & why I gifted her this exact book and again at the end of the story to remind her just how much I loved her. You can add your own personalized messages like I did or just simply read the story. This is my second Hallmark recordable storybook I have recorded for my daughter. I love giving them to her. I know this is morbid…but sometimes I think, what if something tragically happened to me and my time here on Earth was cut short…I feel warmth in my heart knowing she will still be able to hear her Mama’s voice reading her a story long after my journey on Earth has ended. To be honest…that’s the main reason I’m so in love with these recordable storybooks.
