Springton Manor is part of the Chester County Parks and Recreation Department . The property was initially part of a William Penn Manor and has been in agricultural use since the early 1700’s. On this 300 acre demonstration farm, you can meet the animals and tour the beautiful grounds.
Visiting hours for the animals are every day, from 10:00am to 3:00PM in Springton Manor Farm’s Great Barn. Springton Manor is free to visit, stroller and toddler friendly. A fun favorite thing to do is run around the barn and collect stamps on the “barn passports”. What is a “barn passport?”. A piece of paper designed to look like a passport. Each animal in the barn has a stamping station that when you visit the animal you stop by the stamping station and stamp your passport….all free and fabulously fun!
First time visiting… when you turn into the park you will drive down a long driveway and you will see the Manor House on your right, continue along the driveway passing the Manor House and follow the driveway to the lower parking lot. Parking in the lower lot is the easiest access to the barn.
In the summer parking at the Manor/ Carraige house is the easiet access to the butterfly house and carraige house.
Restrooms are located at the carraige house (next to Manor House).
